So how was your Roald Dahl Day? Did you have fun? And did you manage to answer ALL the questions in the Roald Dahl Day quiz? (we have to confess that some of the questions managed to stump even the brainiest boffins here at RDDHQ!)
Don't forget to send us your RDD photos too (check the the terms and conditions). You can send stuff to myday@roalddahlday.info and we promise to post the best ones here on the RDD website, so that the rest of the world can see what a scrumdiddlyumptious time you had on Roald Dahl Day 2007!!!

RDD gets booked up!
Okay, so we've been a little quiet for the past week or so, but that doesn't mean we've been sat twiddling our thumbs here at RDDHQ. Oh no! Quite the esrever (that's in reverse if you've not been reading ESIO TROT lately). In fact, we've been quackily busy working on the gorgeous new covers for all your favourite Roald Dahl books, due to be piling up in the shops later in the year to mark Roald Dahl Day on 13 September
We can't show you what they look like quite yet, but suffice to say, they look good enough to eat... SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS! What's more, the new-look books are jam-packed with loads of curious Roald Dahl facts which you might never have read before... like, did you know that Roald didn’t like cats – but he did like dogs, birds and goats? Or that although Roald was a terrible speller, but he loved playing Scrabble?

Picture this!
News reaches us at RDDHQ of a fab-sounding exhibition due to open at Seven Stories in Newcastle during the summer, based on Quentin Blake's illustrations of Roald Dahl's books. Not only that though, but they're also planning lots of fun activties to coincide with RDD... making Newcastle a fantabulous place to be on 13 September!
